IFA program (established in 2006) are designed to the entire members of family to grow together. The program is weighted not only for the children, but also for the parents. Children are not object, rather, they are assets or agents who bears Islam’s values and will be passing it to our next genera- tion. The next generation will be passing it to the next-next generation, and so on, and so forth. Facts
1. Living in the US is by choice. We are given many choices to live, yet we have chosen US as the place to perform our Ibadah.
2. In the US (especially Houston, Texas), unless we go to religious school, there is no religious course taught in public school for students.
3. Everyone has the same amount of time 24/7. Managing time is required to balance our life.
Considering these facts, parents face many challenges that come not only from societies (mostly neighborhood and public school) but also from inter- nal family. Discipline and commitment shall come from parents to ensure family follow the right guideline according to Islam. In this essence, parents shall set as an example to children.
